At the beginning of 2021, our vinyl records were welcomed on the asphalt installed in the main courtyard of the Museum of Decorative Arts and of Design (MADD, Bordeaux)* during the “Playground – Le design des sneakers” exhibition. It was a nice encounter.
Here we must pay tribute to the Musiques de Nuit team, and their unwavering support to the label, in different places in Bordeaux more than a decade ago, in anticipation of the opening of the “Rocher de Palmer” convert venue in Cenon, and since 2010 already, within this same Rocher.
Concerts are moments of sharing and conviviality. These events deepen when they are part of a collective and transversal approach, of a common desire to carry projects.
Next Saturday, September 17, two folk-pop gems from the Talitres catalog will take over the courtyard of MADD for and unforgettable concert.

This orchestral and luminous pop, this baritone voice, these elegant arrangements will unfold under the windows of the aristocratic Hôtel de Lalande. An already memorable evening.

The Anglo-Lebanese musician’s compositions are stunningly beautiful. Through her rich and bewitching voice, she sings about exile, separation, joy, challenge and desire. Timeless and eternal. New album to be released this fall.

The evening will be preceded by meetings and events with the artists, intended for a multigenerational public, in the heart of the Museum’s collections and exhibitions. More details to come.
*At the 39 Rue Bouffard, this majestic courtyard, surrounded by old Bordeaux stones, opens its doors to the MADD housed in the Hôtel de Lalande, an 18th century private mansion.
