Following the release of their second, “Calendar“, last november and a successful European tour earlier this year, we were encouraged to make their formidable debut – recorded in 2010 in Rostov-On-Don – available (together with three bonus songs) and give it its first official release.

Coming after a number self-released CDRs singles & EPs – ‘Horse‘ 2008, ‘Bear‘ 2009, ‘Ghost‘ 2009 – ‘Alps‘ was recorded in two weeks by Vladislav Parshin and Maxim Polivanov. They borrowed old soviet amps and reverb pedals from their friends to record the guitars and voices, before putting down the drums at Roman’s Belenkiy’s home studio.
