December 2012, The Apartments toured France, as a seven-piece band, playing a series of gigs along with some acoustic sideshows in art galleries and stores.

During this tour, the band dropped into the studios of Radio France / France Musique to record a beautiful live session for Vincent Théval’s Label Pop program.

This live recording, “Seven Songs” originally released on vinyl for the 2013 Record Store Day is finally available on CD. Released date, sept. 18^th, 2015 and available for preorder from our web store, sept. 02^nd.

The Apartments will be touring France in september.

We are very pleased to announce that the Brighton-based musician Will Samson has joined the Talitres roster.

“Ground Luminosity” his third full-lenght album and fourth solo release, patiently and carefully crafted, is his most detailed and ambitious album to date.

The pieces themselves were created in various locations across Europe and completed on the northern coast of Portugal. Inspired by his collaborative works, beats and electronics, which previously perched subtly in the background, have now edged their way to the front line of Samson’s music. Prominent violins, found sounds, plus contributions from musical peers, such as Benoît Pioulard (Kranky) and Message To Bears all assist in bringing Will’s sonic output a further step forward in its evolution.
